Keena and Lorie's Backyard Ceremony

Keena and Lorie turned a simple backyard wedding into a thing of beauty with their DIY stylings.

Here’s the ceremony space they created.

And here’s the much needed water and lemonade station.

The couple flew in from Texas for their ceremony, which was officiated by my friend Kim Jackson. Their family and friends surrounded them with love and celebrated their union with glee.

While the couple was getting ready, Lorie’s step-Dad, Chris, simulated a blessing of some sort.

Family stepped in to help the couple and wedding party get ready.

Lorie and her Mom, and then Keena, walked into the garden and down the aisle.

The ceremony was full of laughter and a few tears of joy.

Delighted to be married, the couple, their minister and friends and family celebrated together.

Grandpa greeted the couple with a warm hug.

After the ceremony, friends and family joined Keena and Lorie at a restaurant for more revelry.
